I have worked in the veterinary field as a receptionist since 2007. In 2015 I joined the Martindale Animal Clinic team. Working with animals has always been a dream of mine and I couldn’t imagine myself doing anything else. I feel fortunate to be part of a team that is always wanting to better their care, work space, and handling techniques for our patients. Being able to work with a team of compassionate, honest, dedicated people is something I feel very lucky to have found. 

In my spare time, you will find me busy with my 6 year old and 2.5 year old daughters and my three dogs. Scout is a daughter of my beloved boy Gunner, she is a 6 year old sable German Shepherd. Scout loves to play fetch and will play for hours. She also enjoys dropping her ball in the pond, jumping in for it, and then repeating the process over and over again. Rook is a daughter of Scout, she is a 4 year old black German Shepherd. Rook excels very well in personal protection training. She shows many traits found in a true working German Shepherd. Rook and I are working towards are PSA1 title in a dog sport called PSA (Protection Sports Association). I love a true working line German Shepherd, and have bred, trained, and owned many. Nora is my 2 year old Golden Retriever. Nora is your typical happy go lucky Golden. I grew up in the country on a chicken farm and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else! Being in the country gives my dogs and children a lot of space to run and play. I also enjoy hiking, camping, reading, and going to the cottage.
